The call for abstracts for the World Conference on Drowning Prevention 2011 is now open. Conference organisers are seeking abstracts for oral, poster and workshop presentations from a wide range of sources across the ten conference themes.
Abstract submissions will be accepted until July 31 via the online submission system. Authors will be notified of the results by October 13, 2010 and given presentation guidelines and briefing notes.
If you, your organisation, institution or agency are involved in interesting research, policy and/or practice aimed at preventing drowning, you are encouraged to submit an abstract and begin planning your attendance at this important event. By participating in the World Conference on Drowning Prevention program, you will be engaging with the world’s leading experts in the areas of drowning research, prevention, rescue, lifesaving, disaster and treatment.
