Located just 500m from Danang airport, in the centre of town, Com Nieu serves reasonable priced traditional style Vietnamese dishes in a beautifully decorated restaurant.

On the English and Vietnamese language menu there are a range of dishes prices from between 45,000 to 60,000VND per dish. On offer are fried dishes, deep fried dishes, soups, grilled meat meals and for the vegetarians or the health conscious there are tofu and vegetable dishes on offer also. Com Nieu also specialises in Hanoi style dishes. The usual soft drinks and beers are available as well.

Recommended are the beef stewed with mushroom and the tofu cooked with stewed tomatoes. You must order rice, to experience Com Nieu’s special cooking style. Rice is prepared in traditional clay pots and is extracted from the pots using large chopstick like wooden utensils.

The restaurant seats 100 people and there is a VIP room that seats 30 people. The wood paneled décor is lovely and the two levels of the restaurant are well lit and air conditioned. Staff are helpful and many can speak English.

It is recommended that larger groups make bookings as this restaurant is extremely popular with locals, expats and tourists alike.
