Ho Chi Minh Museum

Address: 1 Duy Tan Street. See map

Phone: 0511 624014

Construction of Danang’s Ho Chi Minh Museum, commenced in 1976. The museum was built in order to realize the hopes, and loves of local people, cadres, and soldiers in the Fifth Division for Uncle Ho Chi Minh.

The museum is separated into three sections. One section is dedicated to Uncle Ho Chi Minh and the local patriots who fought in the Vietnam War. Another section is dedicated to military history which includes lots of armour on display. The third section is often referred to as the best and most interesting section. This features a replica of Uncle Ho’s stilt house that is found in Hanoi. The house, which is entirely similar to the one in Hanoi, features an orchard and an aquarium on its grounds.

The museum’s opening hours are from 7:30am to 11am and 1:30pm to 4:00pm weekdays and is closed on weekends. Guards and staff at the museum are fluent in English and Vietnamese.
