Conference Legacy Poster
The World Conference on Drowning Prevention 2011 included a small photo exhibition displayed at the conference venue entrance. The 10 thought-provoking images and accompanying text were chosen and written to engage delegates, create talking points, and to also place everyday high-income country drowning concerns into a low- and middle-income country context.
The exhibition was an overwhelming success with many delegates expressing genuine interest in the images and their potential use post-conference.
Four images have since been chosen and designed into a single ‘legacy poster’ for use by delegates and as a reminder of the conference. The four images best represent the significant issue of child drowning in low- and middle-income countries – the overarching conference theme.
