Van Xuan has a great view of China Beach and is only five minutes drive from the Furama Resort. It has indoor seating as well as outdoor seating in a garden setting. The outdoor area is perfectly situated to observe beach life and on a summer’s evening this area can get quite busy with Vietnamese and foreigners alike hitting the beach after work. If noise is an issue, there is plenty of indoor, air conditioned seating.

On the English and Vietnamese language menu there is a good mix of Vietnamese and western foods, soups, salads and desserts. Entrees range in price from 25,000VND to 120,000VND. The set menu with 6 options ranging in price from 80,000 to 120,000VND per person is also a good way to try a variety of dishes.

Van Xuan spring rolls (with crab and vegetable filling) are delicious at 36,000VND for 6 pieces. The crab meat and corn soup is also extremely enjoyable, priced at 15,000VND per bowl. The french fries 25,000VND per dish and prawn cocktail salad 49,000VND per serving are both fresh and delicious. The pork ribs with garlic and the beef kebabs grilled with fresh vegetables are also recommended.

For the less adventurous the menu also includes western options such as seafood spaghetti, Indian food such as chicken and salmon samosas and satay bbq dishes.

The beer pourers are attentive with good ice supply and ensure the beer is always flowing. The restaurant also brews its own European beer for extremely reasonable prices and has some excellent wine varities on offer as well. There is a private room for dinner which would seat between 20 and 30 people and has an air-conditioned area which is good for hot nights.
